Frequently Asked Questions About ATCS

Quick answers for engineers, plant managers and procurement teams evaluating automatic condenser tube cleaning systems.

An automatic condenser tube cleaning system injects oversized sponge rubber balls into the condenser water flow. The balls pass through every tube, wiping away fouling, and are collected and reused automatically.

ATCS is retrofitted to the existing water piping. We only need access to the condenser inlet and outlet water boxes. No internal tube sheet modification is required.

Standard range is 12-30 mm inner diameter. Custom balls and collectors are available up to 45 mm.

Most installations recover 10-30% of cooling energy lost to fouling. The exact figure depends on fouling rate, chiller type and operating hours.

A typical skid installation is completed in one day. Piping and electrical tie-in may add a day depending on site conditions.

Very little: periodic ball top-up, strainer inspection and a yearly PLC check. The controller alerts you when balls need replenishing.

Yes. We provide Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP and BACnet interfaces as standard.

Yes. We match ball material and hardness to the tube metallurgy to avoid abrasion or corrosion.

Yes. We export ATCS units, spare balls and components to Southeast Asia, the Middle East and other regions from Shenzhen.
