The Core Component of Continuous Condenser Cleaning
Sponge Rubber Cleaning Balls are specially engineered to continuously remove soft deposits from condenser tubes during normal plant operation. Acting as the cleaning element inside an online condenser tube cleaning system, these balls travel through the tubes with the cooling water flow and gently wipe away fouling before it accumulates.
Properly selected cleaning balls help maintain heat transfer efficiency, reduce energy consumption, and extend condenser service life.
How Sponge Cleaning Balls Work
During operation, cleaning balls are injected into the cooling water stream and carried through the condenser tubes by the circulating water.
As each ball passes through a tube, its elastic sponge structure lightly compresses against the inner wall of the tube and removes:
- Biofouling
- Algae growth
- Slime deposits
- Mud and sediment
- Soft scale
- Organic contaminants
After passing through the condenser, the balls are collected and returned to the injection unit to begin another cleaning cycle.
This process continues automatically without interrupting plant operation.
